Worship '09

Last night we attended a truly amazing worship event right in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City. It was called Worship '09 - and was put on by Standing Together Ministries. It was the first time my husband & I had been to a large worship event like that & we both left feeling so uplifted. It was basically a music event - a concert of sorts. Our very own Brad Olsen from K2 began the evening with some wonderful worship tunes, including one of his own called "I Remember". What was truly remarkable was the fact that so many churches from around the valley had all come together to worship & praise the One who loves us all - regardless of where we fellowship each week. As the music began, I looked around & saw people from all walks of life gathered & lifting their voices & hands in praise of our loving God. It was moving - and amazing to be a part of such an event. Justin & I greatly enjoyed being with such good friends while we sang away! Blessings & love to you all!

What is his name? Justin David Lord

How long have you been together? Married 2 months, together 2 years & a few months total.

How long did you date? 2 years & 1 month...we met in May of 2007 and got married in June of 2009.

How old his he? 22

Who eats more? Justin (though on some days I can definitely give him a run for his money!)

Who said I love you first? Hmm...good question. I think it was Justin, but I honestly don't remember all that clearly...how sad is that!?

Who is taller? Justin - he's 6'0" and I"m 5'7".

Who can sing better? Well I think I'll say me here...although Justin has an awesome voice! He just won't sing in front of anyone but me!!

Who is smarter? I actually think we're very evenly matched here.

Who does the laundry? We kinda alternate...it depends on what else is going on that weekend.

Who pays the bills? Me.

Who sleeps in the right side? I do. Sometimes I switch it up on vacation & it freaks Justin out!

Who mows the lawn? Ask me again once we have a house! :)

Who cooks dinner? Me

Who drives? Usually Justin. He used to hate my driving, but he's gotten a little better.

Who is more stubborn? Haha, again we're pretty evenly matched here...makes our fights fun!

Who kissed who first? Justin kissed me while we were laying on a blanket at Flat Iron Park - our second date!

Who asked who out first? I asked him...he LOVES that! He added me as a friend on Facebook & after confirming that he wasn't a stalker, I asked him out for coffee on a Sunday afternoon!

Who proposed? Justin- He proposed a few days before our 1 year anniversary. He took me to Flat Iron Park, where we had our first kiss, & we layed on the same blanket talking...then all of a sudden he asked me to stand up & as I did, he got onto one knee & asked me to marry him!

Who has more friends? We have about the same...

Who is more sensitive? Definitely me...I'm working on it though!!

Who has more siblings? Him - he has one brother. Although if we're counting step & half siblings I have more - 6!

Who wears the pants? Hmmm...well, I think he kind of does, but really we are a team...so maybe both of us??
